Back to school vaccines: If you have a child entering Kindergarten, 7th grade, or 11th grade please make sure your child/ren have received all required immunizations for school entry! Different vaccines are required at these age levels to protect against preventable infectious diseases such as chickenpox, measles, meningitis, whooping cough, and tetanus. The compliance deadline for these vaccines is October 1st! Please schedule an appt with your child’s primary care provider or call our office at 475-2582 to schedule with us!

Flu shots: Influenza vaccine will be arriving at our office any day now! Arrangements are currently underway to set up Flu Shot Clinics in all towns within our county! Many outlying flu shot clinics will occur in October – look for more advertising and info in the near future! Our office in Steele will offer flu shots during all office hours. If you or a loved one will need an in-home flu shot – please contact our office at 475-2582 for arrangements.

COVID-19 Bi-valent Booster: Our office is slotted to receive the bi-valent BA.4 and BA.5 variant formulation of the COVID-19 booster vaccine at the beginning of September. Per CDC, the BA.5 variant accounts for almost 90% of new cases. Currently the state will receive and distribute the Pfizer formulations until Moderna is more readily available. We will have more information in the coming days and information is likely to change. We plan to have these updated boosters available at all upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinics as well as the flu shot clinics in the outlying towns.

We are so happy to answer any questions or give more information about COVID-19 or the vaccines to anyone interested – we’d love to hear from you!
